Dave Somogyi

Dave Somogyi is relatively new to the Dallas area music scene. Since his first live performance in 1994, Dave caught the attention of many, including the likes of the "Dallas Morning News", "The Fort Worth Star Telegram", "The Texas Music Association, "Buddy Magazine", KERA radio and David Card (owner of Poor David's Pub in Dallas).

The music is totally original acoustic guitar solo instrumentals in the spirit of Leo Kottke, Peppino D'Agostino, Ed Gerhard, and Adrian Legg (to name a few), all the while creating an original sound surrounding wonderful melodies.

Dave has played with the likes of Doc Watson, John Renbourn, Adrian Legg and Harvey Reid. He frequently opens shows for well known acts with unsuspecting audiences who find themselves awestruck by the newcomer on the stage.
