AS I "EAR
IT" IS BACK! Tune Cox Cable Thanks!
Jeff Jackson WAMI, ABC Radio,
The beginning of this year, I've been asked to be their guest with my recitation "The Old Man On The Road", written by Pookie Henderson and Clair Weldon, Produced by Bill Yelton and Robbie Wittkowski. Carol Lee Cooper performs backup vocals as Larry Merritt plays keyboard for Eddie on The Old Man On The Road. From our guestbook... Robbie Wittkowski (Nashville, TN) had to say: "I appreciate Bobby’s nice comments
about my museum. It truly is a labor of love. I appreciate the support
of so many country artists in our industry who have donated or loaned
clothing and memorabilia. I am proud to announce on Eddie’s website
that Eddie Weldon will be included in my museum right beside country greats
like Roy Acuff, Jim Reeves, Ernest Tubb, Bill Anderson, Conway Twitty,
Loretta Lynn and so many others. Eddie Weldon has contributed in a variety
of ways to this country music business. Just think of the hit records
that he helped break on the radio...I know he’s responsible for
helping break hit records on Bill Anderson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson
and numerous others. Not to mention his own recordings like "Letter
to Mama" that has touched many hearts and souls. His promoting of
country music continues now on the internet and on his show "As I
Ear It". His photo will be included in the Roy Acuff exhibit of my
museum. I just want him to autograph the photo for me. I hope to see some
of Eddie’s fans and friends on the road when I take my museum on
tour in the upcoming year. By the way, Happy Birthday Pookie." FROM THE SHOOTING STAR... "THIS IS AS I
EAR IT."
